Autumn (October–November): The pool water still holds summer heat, the weather is settled and warm, prices are lower than in summer. The German market has known about October–November in Gran Canaria for decades: it is high season in northern Europe and mid-season on the island.
Winter (December–February): The great surprise for first-time visitors. In the interior and south-west, sunny days are the norm. The pool may be cool, but the jacuzzi or the heated pool at Las Mimosas solves that. For Valentine’s or Christmas breaks, availability is good.
Summer (June–August): Hot and dry, pools at their best, long bright evenings. Mid-altitude and northern properties have cooler nights for sleeping.
